lostin-myfantasy: Can we just take a moment to appreciate this picture? Just take a nice long look. This is obviously John in the wake of Sherlock’s death. He has grown a mustache to make himself look somewhat authoritative, more intimidating than Series 1/2 John. Also, take note of the long coat and scarf, along with the gloves in his hand; all things Sherlock used to wear. He’s subconsciously trying to fill in for Sherlock, in his own mind and for the people around him who also lost a dear friend. If that isn’t heartbreaking, I don’t know what is.

Seriously, this is my favorite make-up yet… I don’t know why, as I can’t pick out what is different from all the other make-ups in the past couple of performance pictures I’ve seen.
